Jesus loved kids and so do we. We’re committed to helping kids grow their faith, worship God, make good friends and have fun safe environment.
Our Sunday School is staffed by experienced teachers who love kids and are eager to share with your child the “old, old story” of God’s love. Sunday School meets every Sunday morning during the school year at 9:00am. Everyone ages 3 and up gather for song and prayer, and then divide into their respective classes. At 9:50 or so kids find their parents and head into worship together.
We are busy on Wednesday Nights as well. Both our “Little Lutherans” (preschool) and our “God’s Kids” groups meet during the school year from 6 to 7 pm. (for older Kids offerings Check our Youth Group page)
After gathering with games or large group activities we break off into our respective groups for prayer, devotion, music with our Children’s Choir Director Q Staton, and an activity.
Our activities range from Art that gets displayed throughout the church (including the Sanctuary) to Service projects to baking.
Finally we come together again at evening’s end for snacks, sharing and games.
In the summer God’s Kids transitions to meeting for eight Wednesday mornings from 9-11:30 am for summer camp. Each year there’s a general theme broken up into weekly segments; we sing, learn Bible stories, play games, and have snacks. Contact Aldin Barnes our Youth Director for more info about this year’s offering.
